Poindus is the winner of the
iF DESIGN AWARD 2024!
Poindus Systems Corp is the winner of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, the world-renowned design prize. The winning products, Model S and Fusion, won in the discipline of ‘Product’, in the category of ‘Public/Retail’. Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. Our Model S and Fusion won over the 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with their unique designs and ability to fill niche roles in the market. The competition was intense: almost 11,000 entries were submitted from 72 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.

Poindus Model S
Introducing the Model S, designed for POS space optimization and high-performance needs, with an i5 CPU for versatility in retail, hospitality, and offices. It showcases a 14-inch FHD touch screen with a 3.2mm ultra-narrow bezel, a slender 6.4mm side profile, and an elegant 11.5mm low-profile base. These dimensions reduce volume by 16% without sacrificing functionality, preserving space and aesthetics. It features a built-in cooling system and a cover for peripherals. Plus, an optional IO expansion box enhances connectivity, ensuring future expansion possibilities.
Fusion
Fusion was developed to address the limitations of traditional POS systems. It features a high-performance i5 CPU seamlessly integrated into a laptop-grade chassis. Its sleek and lightweight design reduces volume by 72% compared to conventional POS systems, enhancing portability for users on the move. Beyond retaining the traditional POS screen-sharing capability, the dual-screen design permits foldable and detachable configurations. Additionally, Fusion ensures complete compatibility with various POS peripherals, offering versatile solutions suitable for a wide range of office, retail, hospitality, and medical settings.
